The
Islamic Calendar Based on lunar months, ie the first of each
month coincides with the date of the actual New Moon. In
'Common' years of 354 days, the months are alternately 30 and
29 days long; in the 'Kabishah' year of 355 days the last
month has 30 days. During a 30-year period there are 19 Common
and 11 Kabishah years.The Islamic
months are as follows:
1- Muharram
2- Safar
3- Rabi-ul Awwal
4- Rabi-ul Saani
5- Jumada-ul Awwal
6- Jumada-ul Saani
7- Rajab
8- Sha'ban
9- Ramazan
10- Shawwal
11- Zee Qa'da
12- Zel-Hijja
